I wanted to share a quick update on where things stand.
I’m currently deep in the early redraft stages of Book II: Resilience, the next installment in the Seven Years in Chicago series. This phase is where the story really starts to take shape, refining structure, sharpening character arcs, and making sure the emotional throughline lands the way it needs to. It’s still early, but the foundation is there, and I’m working toward a planned release in 2027.
I also want to take a moment to say thank you. The positive reviews and feedback for Part I: Survival have meant more than I can properly put into words. Hearing how the story has connected with readers, especially given the weight of the subject matter, has been incredibly motivating as I move forward with this next book. If you’ve read the book and have not left a review yet, it does make a difference and is always appreciated.
On the content side, I have been spending more time on TikTok, creating short, cinematic clips that bring key scenes from Survival to life. Some focus on moments from the book, while others include subtle easter eggs that hint at what is coming in future installments. It has been a great way to expand the story beyond the page.
As always, if you have questions, feedback, or are interested in speaking engagements or collaborations, please reach out through the website.
More to come soon.
